With his oldest crop three-year olds, Purrealist was searching for a horse to champion the cause and he has found it in the Chris Waller-trained Hawkspur, who became his sires first Group 1 winner after dominating Saturday's $500,000 Group I Channel Seven Queensland Derby (2400m) at Eagle Farm.
