has lost a much loved competitor with news that dual Group I winner Whobegotyou
has been laid to rest, so if you're a fan read on to see his tribute.

The seven year-old son of Street Cry (IRE) had been a spring carnival fixture in every season
since 2008 when he shot to fame as the winner of the Group I MRC Caulfield
Guineas.
The Mark Kavanagh trained gelding went on to win 10 races from 29 starts
earning a whopping $3.2 million for owner Laurence Eales and his family, who
purchased their star for a modest $19,500 from the Widden Stud draft at the
2007 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale.
Whobegotyou has been buried at the Eales family farm at Sunbury… It's been a
life well lived.
Bred by David O'Keeffe of Lockyer Thoroughbreds, Whobegotyou is pictured here as

Off to the sales, Whobegotyou was initially passed in and later purchased privately
by Laurence Eales.
