The famed cerise colours of the Ingham family were carried to victory for the first time this season by a smart debut winner at Wyong.
Three year-old Dehere (USA) filly Here de Princess looked good in winning two Barrier trials last month and repeated the dose on race day to score a half length win in the 1000 metre three year--old maiden.
Prepared by Chris Waller, Here de Princess (pictured as a yearling) was purchased by Ingham Racing for $100,000 from the Amarina Farm draft at the 2011 Magic Millions.
The compact chestnut is the first winner for Princess Pedrille, a half-sister by Desert Prince (IRE) to Group II winner O'Lonhro from top class Group II winning mare Mamzelle Pedrille.
This is a family that has a real kick along in recent years with new stakes-winners such as Madame Pedrille, M'Lady Pedrille and I Am Invincible, whose first yearlings will hit the sales next year.
Princess Pedrille has a yearling colt by Dylan Thomas (IRE) and is due to foal to Street Sense (USA).
