Australia's
leading first season sire I Am Invincible quietly posted his tenth winner on
Saturday when two year-old filly Deceptive scored at Taree at her second run.
She improved on her debut second at Grafton last month to win over 1000 metres
by three-quarters of a length as a well backed favourite.
A $28,000 Inglis Classic purchase for her trainer Jenny Graham from the Glenlee
draft, Deceptive is the second winner for Lucky Tricks, a half-sister to stakes-winner
Chading.
I Am Invincible leads the Australian First Season Sires List by earnings and
winners, his 10 winners in total (one in New Zealand) including stakes-winners
Vinnie Eagle, Bassillique and Fuld's Bet.
