A Group I sprinter miler in the UK, he proved his stripes in Australia for the Annabel Neasham stable scoring three Group and Listed wins here highlighted by his Group I ATC Epsom Handicap win.

Top Ranked is by Dark Angel, the same sire as Darley’s promising young shuttle sire Harry Angel (IRE), who sired three stakes-winners in his first crop of Australian two year-olds last season - Tom Kitten (from a daughter of Street Cry), Arkansaw Kid (Exceed and Excel) and Stretan Angel (Bernardini).

The sire of 100 SW's, Dark Angel is the sire of Top Ranked.

18YO Dark Angel recently clocked up his 100th stakes-winner in the UK and stands at a fee of €60,000 at Yeomanstown Stud. He has a good record with mares carrying Danehill blood having sired 22 stakes-winners bred this way including Group I winners Angel Bleu and Persuasive, who is from a daughter of Choisir.

Top Ranked is priced at $7,700 and looks amazing value given his credentials.
