Denman 2YO Breaks Maiden for All Winners Thoroughbreds

Tara Madgwick - Wednesday July 27

Young Warwick Farm trainer Robert Quinn led in his first winner at his home track when promising Denman 2YO filly Miyoshi opened her account on Wednesday at her second start.

A good second on debut behind highly rated filly Waverider Buoy at Warwick Farm on July 13, Miyoshi took benefit from that run and was fit and ready to fire in the two and three year-old maiden over 1200m.

She hit the line hard for Tyler Schiller to beat Godolphin’s first starter Aft Cabin by a head.

uo;She has a fantastic attitude, she’s so laid back and when a horse comes to her she just keeps sticking out her head and keeps lifting,” said Robert Quinn, who trains the filly for All Winners Thoroughbreds and also prepares her full sister.

Miyoshi is the first foal of Kaishi, an unraced half-sister by Helmet to Group III winner Aichi and stakes-winner Kinshachi with the extended family also producing this year’s Group I ATC Champagne Stakes winner She’s Extreme.

Denman

Miyoshi is a nice prospect for Lonhro’s Golden Rose winning son Denman, who stands at Twin Hills stud at a fee of $8,800.
