Preparing for Spring

It might be winter right now, but the preparation for a busy spring is underway at many farms around Australia as stallions stretch their legs and start to get fit for the coming breeding season.

At Kitchwin Hills, new recruit Time for War made a pleasing start to his stud career last spring and has started his build up with some leisurely ambles around the farm with his handler Louis Robey offering some interesting insight into the promising young son of Snitzel.

Time for War covered 74 mares last spring and the Group II winner is priced at $11,000 this year and stands alongside proven Group I producer Dane Shadow at $6,600.
