Half-Brother for Petits Filous

Spring stakes-winner Petits Filous has had a gorgeous half-brother born at Emirates Park, his arrival again highlighting the emergence of the El Prado sireline in Australia.

This foal is a half-brother by El Prado son Artie Schiller (USA) to top Victorian filly Petits Filous from the Exceed and Excel mare Excellent Lady, a three-quarter to Group I winner La Bella Dama.

The cross of Danehill with El Prado is becoming a very successful one with Breeders Cup winner Outstrip being by Exceed and Excel from an El Prado mare, while in Australia, Golden Slipper winner Vancouver is by El Prado sire Medaglia D'Oro (USA) out of the great mare Skates (Danehill).

Also by Medaglia D'Oro from Danehill line mares are Australian stakes-winners Nostradamus and Federal.

Artie Schiller has been in great form this year with I Love It, Daytona Grey and Vain Queen winning stakes races in the autumn.

Looking forward to the spring are El Greco with Peter Moody and Over The Air with David Payne.

Artie Schiller stands at a fee of $13,200.
