Malverna as a yearlingPrepared at the track by Wayne Collison, Malverna was well fancied and ran accordingly, surging clear to win the 800 metre maiden by the best part of a length.

A $41,000 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale Summer Book purchase from the Fairview Park Stud draft, Malverna is the first winner for metro winning Snippets mare Framboise, a half-sister to stakes-winners Triple Gold and It's a Miracle.

Malverna is the third winner for Tickets, who also has five place-getters from 15 runners.

Tickets stands at Widden Stud at a fee of $6,600.
