Inspections are starting this week at Newmarket for the 2015 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale and amongst this galaxy of young equine stars are some yearlings that you just can't resist taking a look at – starting with a half-sister to the mighty Hay List.

From the first crop of ten-time Group I winner in So You Think and is a half-sister to four winners headed by gigantic sprinter Hay List, 15 wins and $2.5 million highlighted by three brilliant Group I victories and more Group I seconds to Black Caviar than we would like to remember.

Lot 42 Colt High Chaparral (IRE) x Merlene, by Danehill (USA) – Segenhoe Stud for Fairway Thoroughbreds

By a sire running hot and bred by our Golden Slipper winning breeder John Camilleri, this colt is the 13th foal of Golden Slipper winner Merlene and is a half-brother to Group II winner Merlene de Lago and to the dam of Group I star Dear Demi.
