in taking the 1100 metre maiden by half a head.A $65,000 Magic Millions purchase for her trainer from the Rosemont Stud draft, Eclat is a half-sister to Group II placed Moreau from Francophile, an unraced French Deputy mare from the family of champion racehorses Arazi and Noverre.
Eclat was a successful pinhook having been bought as a weanling for $32,000 from the Magic Millions National Weanling Sale.
Eclat is the sixth winner for Beneteau, who stood at Arrowfield Stud before his premature death in 2012 after covering for just two seasons at a fee of $11,000.
