Just
days after his exciting filly Carriages won the $200,000 MM Clockwise Classic
at Ballarat, Hinchinbrook has a second winner on the board with Moment of Music
scoring a resounding win at Scone on Monday.
Prepared by Kris Lees, Moment of Music was second at her first run at Scone
last month and showed the benefit of race experience and the addition of a
tongue tie to travel on the pace and power clear to win the 1000 metre maiden
by three and a quarter lengths as a hot favourite.
Moment of Music was a $30,000 Inglis Premier purchase from the draft of
Rosemont Stud and is the first foal of Escalotte, a placed half-sister by
Encosta de Lago to Group I winner Barkada.
A three-quarter brother by Fastnet Rock to Snitzel, Hinchinbrook now has two winners
from eight runners, his progeny also including another stakes-placegetter in
Old Trieste.
Yarraman Park based Hinchinbrook has 24 entries for 2015 Magic Millions and 17
for Inglis Classic.
