Mountain of Winners!

Media Release - Sunday November 23
If the measure of a farm's success is based around the number of winners it produces, then there is one stud that can be well-pleased in recent times after delivering an absolute swag of victors over the last few days.

Glenlogan Park has long been recognised as one of the premier farms within Australia and results from Friday, Saturday and Sunday have only added further to cementing this reputation with every single one of their 7 stallions delivering impressive winners within this timeframe.

Heart of Thunder - Trackside PhotographyThe boom period began on Friday where the main Qld meeting was held at Ipswich. Qld's five time Champion Sire Show A Heart got the ball rolling on a day that would deliver a winning treble for the farm at the meeting.

Cheered on by his big team of owners racing under the Hancox Bloodstock banner, the promising gelding Heart Of Thunder resumed from a spell with a powerful win that signalled there will be plenty more to come.

Heart Of Thunder is a ¾ relation to multiple G1 winner Heart Of Dreams and has a nice career in front of him.

The other two winners on the day were provided by the current Leading Sire in Qld, Jet Spur.

The first of these was over the staying distance of 2150m when the Rex Lipp prepared gelding Jetting To London streaked away for an ever-widening 4 length victory, before the Tony Gollan trained Mr Jetset unleashed a finish that has him earmarked as a potential topliner with a similar winning margin under a very tight ride.

The Ipswich Friday treble for Glenlogan was complimented with other victories around the country as Humanise (Red Element) and The Other Girl (Show A Heart) at Orange in NSW, Be Tolerant (Show A Heart) at Kyneton in Victoria and Turret Hill (also by Show A Heart) at Hawkesbury, all saluted the judge in first place.

Saturday racing at Doomben saw a very impressive winning double with Real Saga's progressive mare Treatmelikealady making it 3 wins from her only 3 starts this campaign for trainer Rob Heathcote, whilst Jet Spur's 3YO filly Tina Melina took a giant leap in class from her last start as she powered away from the big field in the quality QTIS event for Tony Gollan.

Treatmelikealady keeps taking every step for her connections and has now won 5 of her 11 starts. Upon dismounting jockey Michael Cahill gave the 4YO mare glowing praise and described her as "a real racehorse who just wants to find the line." The popular hoop indicated that if the daughter of Real Saga continues to take the right steps then a stakes race is certainly within her grasp. And that black type goal also looks like being firmly on the table for Jet Spur's Tina Melina who progressed from a mid-week Fillies and Mares maiden win to easily handle some of the best 3YO's in the state in just 2 starts.

Real Saga's tough mare Treatmelikealady earned high praise from jockey Michael Cahill.

Jet Spur's very impressive 3YO filly, Tina Melina, looks capable of earning black type after landing back to back victories.

Saturday racing saw plenty of other Glenlogan sired winners scattered around the country, however the one that brought the biggest smile was delivered by Rothesay's impressive 2YO filly Supersay when she easily accounted for her opposition at Toowoomba on Saturday night.

Falvelon opened up Sunday's account for the farm at Goulburn when his 6YO Faverock made it a hat-trick of wins from his past three raceday appearances. The tough gelding has been terrific for his connections and there promises to be plenty more to follow.

Up in the Sunshine State at Caloundra, the Glenlogan Park sires' dominance continued with yet another winning treble!

Victories by Bradbury's Luck's SomedayI'llbelucky, Real Saga's True Royal and the very much in-form Jet Spur's Tanzanite completed a three-day winning spree that is becoming more and more common place for the state's leading thoroughbred nursery.
