Ridden by veteran Kevin Forrester for trainer Paul Jones, Mujadale led all the way to defeat At First Sight (IRE) (Galileo) by 3 ΒΌ-lengths with the topweight Fat Al (Al Maher) a short-head back in third.
"You had your heart in your mouth watching him," Jones said.
"He's just so brave and runs a bit on adrenal a bit like Forest Gump, the more he runs the more he likes it.
"He's settling a lot better at the races now, he used to get himself very worked up beforehand.
"There's still some races for him, the Bagot looks a nice one to aim at."
Mujadale is the third foal of the New Regent mare Newdale who collected 5 wins from 36 starts in country Victoria.
Her granddam Matalassie (Duke Ellington) is a half-sister to Sweet Embrace Stakes winner Jade Lace (Baguette) the dam of Group 1 Honda Stakes winner Pontormo (Chem).
Newdale has a 2yo colt by Captain Gerrard (IRE) yearling filly by Master Of Design.
Mujadale becomes the 23rd stakes winner for Mujahid (Danzig) who also left the 4-time Group 1 winner Daneleigh from his short Australian stint.
The 18yo stallion now plies his trade in Italy where he is among the leading sires.
