Group One Sprinter to Retire to Coolmore

Tara Madgwick - Friday October 31
Brilliant Scat Daddy speedster No Nay Never will have his final start in the Group I Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint this weekend in which he will run favourite and will then be retired to stand at Coolmore in Ireland.

No Nay NeverA fast and precocious juvenile, No Nay Never went unbeaten in three starts at two last season winning first time out at Keeneland before breaking the track record in the Group II Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot and later winning the Group I Prix Morny at Deauville from subsequent Group I winners Vorda and Rizeena.

On his most recent outing No Nay Never defeated older sprinters in the Grade III Woodford Stakes at Keeneland.

"Wesley Ward has trained some very fast horses over the years but he is in no doubt that No Nay Never is the most talented," said Coolmore's Director of Sales David O'Loughlin. "He's a very strongly-made individual who dwarfed his rivals in the parade ring at Royal Ascot. We can see him proving very popular with breeders here."

No Nay Never is one of 35 stakes-winners by Scat Daddy, who has been hugely successful in South America as well as siring Group I winners in North America and Europe.
