The Kim Waugh trained filly Balloons beat older rivals to win over 1200 metres and was followed in the very next race by promising filly Final Agreement, who bolted clear to also beat older horses in winning over 1000 metres at her second start for Team Hawkes.
A $60,000 Magic Millions Yearling purchase for his owner Matthew Sandblom from the Arrowfield Stud draft, Final Agreement is a three-quarter sister to Group III placed Sweetener and is the third winner from Negotiate, a daughter of Group I winner Euphoria.
